This is our new fanshaft for John Deere Model G tractors. It is a 3 pc weldment like your original. All our fanshaft components found in GP - AA6240RKIT will fit our shafts which can be purchased with this shaft at a discount. ( see MPI). The model G uses a fanshaft that has no ventilator pump provision hence the drive end is only machined 2 inches. John Deere Model A tractors that were previous to the ventilator pump used a fanshaft similar to this shaft. The lengths are identical, but the A1176R shaft required a B2129R spacer. The shaft on an AF1106R had the area where the spacer would be machined in such a way to eliminate using B2129R. Our shaft (AF1106R) can therefore be used in both model applications.
