This is the spring used on the letter series John Deere A,B, G two cylinder tractors. The fork spring supported the clutch fork to help it "float" to reduce wear. It is a larger diameter than the earlier B170R spring used on the unstyled tractors. Our spring is music wire high carbon steel with a zinc plating.
